Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have expressed their serious concerns regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza caused by the continuous Israeli military operations. This was emphasized during the official meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (MBS) during Prabowo’s visit to the Kingdom. Both countries have agreed to step up their efforts in coordinating emergency aid and broader humanitarian support for the people in Gaza.
The joint statement issued by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) underlined the dedication of both nations to provide humanitarian aid and assistance for the recovery process following the Israeli aggression. In addition to discussing the situation in Gaza, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia also stressed their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation in maintaining global stability and security. They have pledged to collaborate in promoting peace in the region and strengthening global resilience.
The meeting took place at Al-Salam Palace in a cordial and amicable atmosphere, demonstrating the close strategic relationship between the two countries.
